late last week, Ciara What took her Instagram followers by surprise was the unexpected news that she was going to the countryside.Just days later she stepped onto the stage Walker Hayes Performing the country artist’s track “Ya’ll Life” at the 2022 CMT Artist of the Year ceremony, which aired on October 14.
That same day, Hayes released a new version of the song featuring Ciara on a single, and she seems to be having the time of her life.
“My first country show live performance! Wow!!! Thanks for having @WalkerHayes @CMT!! Y’all Life🤟🏽,” the singer wrote on Instagram shortly after the duet. She shared clips of her performing, behind-the-scenes photos, and even a cappella dressing room-filled video of her sessions on the platform.

In the opening shot, the “One, Two Step” songstress strutted through the backstage hall, past equipment cases, spare risers and mic stands, showing off her outfit for the night. The glittery appliqués on her skirt, the rhinestones peeking out over her bust, her edgy denim, her bra, her black cowboy hat, her black cowboy boots, and her black belt, all embellished with shimmering stones.
The clip transitioned to performance footage from the evening, interspersed with gorgeous black-and-white shots of the star, followed by similar color shots. We flashed to another shot of the “Goodies” singer posing in the air.A few more BTS shots were sprinkled into the mix, including one with Hayes.
A new studio recording of the track, the music was muted and the video changed to show the two having fun in one of the dressing rooms. “Come on!” Ciara cheered with a big smile as the cameras started rolling. “Okay Walker, what kind of life are we living?” she then asked.

“We live it-” he said before cutting himself off to start singing the phrase instead.
“Hey!” Ciara cheered again as the performance ended, holding the “Let’s Rock” sign with both hands and adding, “Ya’ll life!”
Followers are overjoyed at the change in sound.
“Oh, she ate that country song🔥🔥🔥🔥👀👀👀,” said one, while another added, “Living for Ciara’s country😍.”
Some fans love Ciara’s ya’ll life phase and already want more.
