The Cake Shake trailer is located at 2271 N. Main near the Holiday Inn Express Suites in front of Anaya’s Marketplace. Hours of operation are 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM daily. Cake shakes are trending in the dessert world, but nothing like what Dixon’s offers.

“My wife and I just opened a new store on Main Street in Logan,” Dixon said. “We are her USU students, my wife is from Mendon and I am from Pocatello. This summer we decided to build a milkshake trailer and with the help of my grandfather who is a plumber, I built one.

Cake shakes are different from typical milkshakes where you pick your flavor and add syrup to the ice cream. Dixon’s Cake His shake blends vanilla ice cream with cake flavor. The flavor comes out when the cake mixes with the ice cream. The dessert is topped with whipped cream and served with flavored syrup on top.

“We opened three weeks ago. “We were at work one day and were thinking of mixing cake and ice cream to make a cake shake.”

The couple have been married for just over a year and are enjoying working together at this new company.

“Our mission is to bring family and friends together so they can share time with each other.”
