The program is interdisciplinary. MDTM is offered jointly by two faculties at OAC’s University of Guelph, giving students double the opportunities. They study the chemical, physical, and microbiological aspects of food with the aim of ensuring that consumers have access to nutritious, high-quality food that is safe to eat. You can learn from researchers in the science department.

You can also learn from experts at the Food, Agriculture and Resources Economics Authority (FARE). Their work focuses on applied economics and business analytics along the entire food value chain, from farm to fork.
