49 WPIAL women’s soccer teams have qualified for the WPIAL playoffs, but with the regular season nearing its end, there are still some postseason spots left.

With a few exceptions, most district teams finish section play on Monday.

Here are the games that will have postseason impact:

Section 1-3A of Indiana (5-6), Kiski Area (4-7): The Little Indians are on a winning streak, and an away win for KA will send the Cavaliers into the playoffs.

Section 2-3A, Laurel Highlands (5-8) over Connellsville (7-6) and Belle Vernon (7-6) over Elizabeth Forward (11-1-1): Both Falcons and Leopards qualify for the win. If Connellsville and Belle Vernon both win, draw or lose, they both clinch.

Section 1-2A, North Catholic (11-0) Beaver (4-4-2), Hopewell (4-5-1) Central Valley (3-7), and at Avonworth (9-2) Quaker Valley (4-6-1): Bobcats and Vikings can come out victorious. The Quakers are eliminated with defeat. The Biebers will visit Hopewell to wrap up their section play on Tuesday.

Section 2-2A, Barrel (7-2-2) in Valley (5-6) and Hosted by Deer Lakes (4-6-1) Knock (8-1-1): Vikings clinch with a win or a draw. The Lancers clinch with a win and a loss or a tie in the Valley.

Section 1-A, at Springdale (10-1) Riverview (5-5): The Serra Catholics will be eliminated if the Raiders win on Monday or face the Greensburg Central Catholics (8-2) on Tuesday. Riverview lost his second and the Eagles clinch.

Section 2-A, Bentworth (4-6-1) at Beth Center (1-10) and South Allegheny (4-6-1) at Waynesburg Central (9-2): A Bearcats win or a Gladiators loss or tie would qualify for the playoffs for Bentworth and eliminate South Allegheny based on a head-to-head tiebreak in favor of Bentworth.

Section 3-A, Mohawk (6-2) at Sewickley Academy (3-6) and at liberty (9-0) South side (3-6): A Panthers win or Rams loss or draw would qualify for the playoffs for Sewickley Academy, in favor of Sewickley Academy, to eliminate the South Side based on a 1-1 tie-break.

The WPIAL Women’s Team Tennis Playoffs are halfway through the bracket with semi-final matches in both Classes 3A and 2A set for Monday.

The top four teams advanced to District Final 4 with one exception. Fifth seed Bethel Park beat rivals and fourth seed Upper St. Clair in the quarterfinals to set the stage for a new champion after USC won gold last season.

Bethel Park will take on another South Hills rival when they face No. 1 seed Mount Lebanon at 3:00 p.m. at Thomas Jefferson High School.

Another 3A semi-final will see second seed Shadyside Academy and third seed North Allegheny play at 3pm at Sewickley Academy.

The Class 2A semi-finals will take place at North Allegheny High School, where top seed and defending champion Sewickley Academy will face No. 4 seed South Park at 3:00 p.m. increase.

The winner will take home the WPIAL Gold Medal on Wednesday afternoon at the Janet L. Swanson Tennis Center in Washington & Jefferson.

Tomorrow’s losing team will also play against Wednesday’s district comfort game. The top three teams in both classes qualify for the PIAA Women’s Team Tennis Tournament.
