About roles:
An exciting opportunity awaits a passionate entertainment manager working with the SE team to manage a diverse portfolio of clients across major, corporate and private events.
This is a hands-on role acting as a liaison between clients and performers. Develop concept proposals, new entertainment strategies, and identify relevant talent to complement the client profile and budget.
You will be working in a dynamic team, so you will need to thrive in a motivated, enthusiastic, fast-paced environment and pay attention to detail. A team player and a love of entertainment is a must!
Responsibilities include:
- Envision, create, budget, plan, manage and execute a variety of entertainment across our SE client portfolio
- Maintain and build strong relationships with clients, talent and suppliers
- Manage all aspects of end-to-end entertainment including casting, scheduling, music direction, talent and supplier management, AV and production specifications, and OH&S requirements
- Respond to inquiries from clients and suppliers professionally and within agreed timeframes
- Contract negotiations with personnel, suppliers and other industry experts
- Coordinate vendors to ensure all services are delivered as agreed and within budget
- Manage all operational aspects related to entertainment and ensure they run smoothly
- Proposal writing, budget management, scheduling, run sheet management
- Stage management as needed
- Attend meetings with clients and manage relevant WIPs, agendas, schedules, etc.
- Support GM with business development strategy and execution
- Mentor direct and indirect reports and act as a team player
- Maintain SE brand value in all transactions
Required Skills:
- Solid understanding of the entertainment industry
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- sound negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at any time
- attention to detail
- Works well, performs well under pressure, and manages competing priorities effectively
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, venues and talent
- Be prepared to travel and work after hours when necessary
- Has a collaborative, collaborative, solution-oriented mindset and a do-it-yourself attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A desire to learn and grow professionally
- 2+ years of experience in the event industry or equivalent
